Inspection Results:

• The upper & lower spindle journal diameters are worn and undersized and have some runout. We recommend plating and grinding the upper and lower journals.
• The upper bearing housing inner diameter meets design specifications and
• shows no appreciable wear. No modification is required.
• The lower bearing housing inner diameter meets design specifications and shows no appreciable wear. No modification is required.
• We recommend dust grinding the taper and the face of the spindle journal.
• The upper and lower bearings show some wear on the inner and outer diameters.
• The tool pressure is low. We recommend relacing the disc springs and the gripper balls.
• The unit will be assembled and tested.
