Inspection Results:

• The spindle journal diameters on the upper drive journal and lower gear journal are worn. The journal is also worn where the gears seats. We recommend plating and grinding these areas.
• The bearing housing inner diameter meets design specifications and shows no appreciable wear. No modification is required.
• The taper is worn. We recommend dust grinding the taper.
• The bearings show some wear on the inner and outer diameters.
• The gears are in good shape and show little wear.
• The unit will be assembled and tested.
