Inspection Results:

• The spindle journal diameters show no appreciable wear and are acceptable for proper bearing fits.
• The bearing housing inner diameter meets design specifications and shows no appreciable wear. No modification is required.
• The taper runout is larger than design specification. We recommend dust grinding the taper.
• The bearings show some wear on the inner and outer diameters.
• The gears are in good shape and show little wear. One of the gears has broken tabs. We will weld & re-machine. We will also plate & grind the inner ID. The unit will be assembled and tested.
