Inspection Results:

• The drive spindle journal diameter is worn where the seal and needle roller bearing sit. We will plate and grind this area.
• One of the bearing housing inner diameters is oversized and shows appreciable wear. We recommend plating and grinding this area.
• The taper runout is acceptable. Our proposal provides no repair to the spindle taper.
• The bearings show some wear on the inner and outer diameters.The lower bearing cover is worn and will be replaced.
• The gears show wear. The gears do not have any chips or broken teeth. We will leave the gears as is. The unit may run loud due to the gears.
• The unit will be assembled and tested.
