Inspection Results:

•The spindle journal diameters show no appreciable wear and are acceptable for proper bearing fits.
•The bearing housing inner diameter meets design specifications and shows no appreciable wear. No modification is required.
•The chrome on the taper is chipping off. We will re-chrome the taper.
•The bearings show some wear on the inner and outer diameters.
•Many of the disc springs are broke. We recommend replacing the springs.
•One of the bearing nuts had to be cut off. We will make a new nut.
•The gears are in good shape and show little wear.
•The unit will be assembled and tested.
